About the event
August has traditionally been a month when the Society did not run a presentation. It was decided this year to have a bit of fun and move to The Cap on The Thoroughfare for a more social event. Some of you may remember a programme called ‘Going for a Song’ where people guessed what a mystery object was. We are having our own Harleston version called ‘Speed Antiques’ where people will sit at tables and mystery objects will be circulated for a limited time. People will be asked to guess what the objects are. The objects will then more to the next table.
We envisage that this will be very popular, and as places are strictly limited will sell out. We are offering tickets to members before they are released to general public. This is your opportunity to make sure that you don’t miss out.
This is a presentation by George Norman, and some of his collection of curios, wonderfully weird, obscure objects.
