Harleston Clock

This clock was made it Harleston, circa 1830-50 by Samuel Carman. Samuel Carman (both father and son) had a clock and watch makers shop in the town, between about 1816 and 1890, firstly in the Market Place and later in Broad Street.


The clock is a 30 hour longcase clock and has been loaned to the Museum by Malcolm Wiles.
