The Harleston and District Historical Society is starting up again after a long rest enforced by the Covid self isolation and social distancing measures. We will now be meeting in St John's Church which has a wonderful sound system and two large TV screens. Parking is available in the car park to the side of the church. The first three meetings will be FREE of charge.
Our opening presentation will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday 26 May. This will be given by Margaret Griffiths, about the changing nature of our shops. A wonderful collection of photos from our shops of the past. We will offer a welcome glass of wine or soft drink.
We will have a regular monthly meeting will take place at 2:00pm on the third Thursday of each month. Other topics will include presentations, trips and {something else}. We will also pick up our association with the Mayflower and the Fuller family.
